Flood International Consulting, has crossed another milestone with regard to another medical clinic in Prairieville, Louisiana opening. Ascension Medical Associates ran by Dr. Andrew Gustavson, MD, Neurologist, is up and going. The medical community has been looking at a looming physician shortage for over 15 years with Louisiana being the state with the greatest shortage. As insurance companies are evolving, so is opening and running medical clinics efficiently. We are proud to announce that Dr. Gustavson takes most major medical insurances, which is a task in itself, but yet another one accomplished. Most physicians are forced into working for hospitals, and independent physician groups are becoming less and less.
If you live in the Prairieville area, I encourage you to stop by and see Dr. Gustavson with any neurology needs. As you may know, the Baton Rouge area does not have many selections when it comes to neurology. Now Ascension Parish has its own neurologists to take care of the community’s Neurology needs. As of now Dr. Gustavson has same day appointments, but his schedule is filling up.
